Getting FISHY With It

Here are all the photos of my previous hobby - keeping fishes. It proved too painful after awhile of seeing too many of them floating lifelessly after a bout of yours truly forgetting to put the anti - chlorine in.

For those who are "fish unfriendly", you need to add in anti-chlorine to kill off all the chlorine, because chlorine is toxic to the fishes gills. So, if you do forget to do so, you'll get a whole tank of dead fishes the next time you check on them.

Or, you might find a couple of really hardy ones gasping for air.

Liken it to the bullet train gas incident in Tokyo, Japan. Imagine 300 people getting gassed. Not a very nice thing I would presume.

Well, same predicament for the fishes when they can't breathe because of chlorine.

So, for the safety of fishes and to preserve their otherwise short life span, I have decided not to keep too many nowadays.

Therefore, I only have ONE Arowana in my house. Names Goldie. And that belongs to my father.

But that doesn't mean I can't go and admire fishes which explains the bout of koi, arowana, siamese twin arowana, parrot fish and cat fish photos.

Check out the place I went to : Xian Leng which is listed on the KLSE. The showroom closest to home is the Shah Alam aquarium.

Real Flowers? Cameron Highlands

It's a well known fact that you can get flowers by the dozens at the cheapest rate in Camerons! But honestly, nothing compared to the type of flowers you get overseas - which they sell by the roadside and it looks so rich in colour and so tempting for you to haul out that purse, and buy a bunch or two.

The ones at Camerons were of mediocre standards, with some really nice ones but most of the time, they looked wilted and some had sprayed on colours or some genetic mutation.

" I'm taking a photo of these photos with the whole crowd behind to show my b/f how tacky Malaysia can look like" said one of my friends, who's currently residing in Australia.

Yes, I admit. The whole look of fake flowers, wilted and genetic deformities with the tudung aunties as well as the Ah Sohs rushing around trying to get hold of their children are sure a sight to behold.

Add in also the squeaky, blood sucking money making machines of those musical horses, superman or cars which jump into action once you shove in a RM 1.00 or RM 2.00 coin. I saw one entrepreneuring child gleefully taking coins thrown in by tourist into a fountain and feeding the machine - to jump start the musical "machine" to life.

Pretty smart don't you think. All our fancy wishes into a fountain being channelled for such a good cause!

Creepy Crawlies

We tried looking all over for the creepy crawlies. Magic shops etc. But we found it in the Kid's Department of Jaya Jusco. Not bad, RM 5.00 for a whole packet of creepy crawlies. And super sized as well! Made in China and boy are they big!

Ewww....don't want any of this near me (Real live or dead!)

Cockroach Custard

Yes, it's cockroaches on your custard. My colleague absolutely JUMPS at the sight of those ugly creatures and we decided to scare her with some big ones. Fake, of course. We ain't that bad to ruin the really nice cream, caramel custard.

It was gooey, cheeeweey andd sweet. I like the cheewy part. Tons of condensed milk lathered in thick, creamy gooey egg white and yolk as well. Add on that brown sugar and pop it in to steam.

That's what Vivid said. Kindof.

Gluttony - Most Evil

Lollipops are a great way to get your head moving once you spin once or twice in that psychedelic nonchalance. I wish I had more sweets in me than I ever wanted. Perhaps, gluttony is a reward I have for starving myself rail thin just two months back.

Chomping down oodles of noodles, stuffing myself silly with the overnight Christmas turkey has been nothing but zombie-fying for my bloated mind and stomach.

I guzzle down that calorie infested Coca Cola and down another slab of turkey meat. Nothing beats having to stay home in front of the idiot box and trying to drown yourself in all this abundance.

It can’t get better than this, folks. Gluttony - absolutely heavenly.
