Project Tampal Muka & Charms...

Yes, that;s me family on the left man. My bro looks like he graduated from Harry Potter's university of some kind. It was quite nice, summer and all. Not too cold, not too hot.

I remember having to "prettify" my brother with tons of tinted moisturizer. Bet you can't see his pimples cuz I covered it so well! Thank me Joni, you owe me for making you look that good!

Charmy Charms has quite a knack for pulling a face. I love the fact that she is SO SO SO organized. Can you imagine, she arranges all her hair clips, her plates, tea cups all in such delicate order!

Something I havta learn from her - being tidy! I am actually one of the "tidiest" at work. Colleagues, testify! Hahaa..but when it comes to my room, it's a totally different story.

One more thing about Charm's is that she's a planner. She already bought her *ahems* present for 2006, anniversary etc etc.

I recall her telling me this: "JADEEEE! You don't have any more petrol in your car! What if we break down half way? What if we can't go up the hill" says Charmy Loke rather exasperately.

"Aiyah..Charm..never hear of reserve tank ah? Sure got few drops left wan. No problem" Jade answers "selambarly"

"You know..my dad always taught me to pump extra, always in advance, must have contingency. Plan ahead! Just in case!" answers Cham, but she knows she can't do much if I don;t budge

Yes, we love each other - but please..we can't live together! =) Right Charms? Posted by Picasa

Another twist to the story

7 March 2006, Kuala Lumpur - With recent reports that a government linked company has been consistently inefficient and "sweeping things under the carpet", there has been major concerns on Malaysian society's lack of efficiency and productivity.

Take for example, the situation at hand.

I am delayed for over hour due to the oversight of a IT personnel that did not load in the wireless system. Back and forth back and forth, we get lead here and there - and alas, a solution arises. With unclear directions on how to use the product being marketed, how can we Malaysians improve in our job scope!

We talk about being more efficient, productive with GDP currently rocketing up to 5% growth this year, but is that merely a "catch up " growth that is so normal for a developing country?

I am WAITING.....

9.14 pm

Stuck in Mid Valley IT Centre.

Blasting Chinese music with the irritating drums giving out a hypnotizing beat.

A phone rings - high pitched.

More irritating Chinese music.

*Ting!*

"The guy says Al's media centre's network, wireless system is up"

I am happy.

Yay!

Oh wait, they go out, and now they return back in, a rush of movements.

I bet they are all wanting to "sau tong".

I hear metal shuttles being pulled down.

It's 4 minutes later.

Will I wait here till 9.30 pm?

I hope not.

Al's talking in pidgin Cantonese.

Some laughter, and now.....I hoep stuff are setlled.

Ahh....bargaining Al in the works.

Let's see whether he gets it!

Ok...time to go soon...=)
